Ladies’ Retreat Update
Ladies’ Retreat Update
As you all know, we are living in unprecedented times. As we have been praying about the retreat, seeking counsel, and working to follow the guidelines and protocols that our government leaders have set up, we have come to the point where we feel we need to make some changes for our upcoming 2020 Ladies Retreat.
We know that the current “shelter at home” guidelines are extended at this point to the day before our event, and we are also aware that many are facing incredibly hard circumstances with loved ones, finances, and the uncertainty of the times. In light of all of this, we have decided to change the platform of the retreat. We will be hosting an online Women’s Conference on May 2, from 10am-2pm. The conference will utilize an online platform, and will include speakers and breakout sessions.
It is our heart to uplift, encourage, and minister to as many people as we can. Consequently, there will be no charge for this event, and it will be open to anyone who wants to attend. (For those that have already paid online, we will be mailing out refund checks starting next week.)
We want to leave you with this encouragement — As one pastor said, “The doors to the church buildings are closed right now, but the doors to the Kingdom are wide open!” Many are seeing God move in powerful ways, and we believe that we will see His Hand in powerful ways in this event, as well as in our individual circumstances. We have talked with many church leaders, and we have been overwhelmed with the response and excitement to see what God has in store. Many have said that this will give them the opportunity to reach so many more women then they were going to be able to reach before. We encourage you to invite your friends and family to join you, as well.
We will be posting the specifics for the retreat (how to log in, etc.) on the our webpage (www.glacierbiblecamp.org) as soon as we can. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us using one of the options below.
Please know that the staff and volunteers here at Glacier Bible Camp are praying for you! We know that we serve a God of the impossible, and we pray that you will see Him moving mightily in your lives and the lives of those around you during these hard times. He is faithful.
