JoAnn Roberts

In 1990, JoAnn and her husband, Thom, left their jobs, family, and home to follow the Lord’s call into missions. Since that time, He has taken them to many places — 46 states (including Alaska), 3 Canadian provinces, and Mexico. They worked as M.A.P.S. (Mission America Placement Service) workers for five years on the reservations of North & South Dakota and at Central Indian Bible College. Over the next several years, they traveled all over the country with their 6 children doing a variety of ministries–conducting Kid’s Crusades; working with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) with inner-city youth; helping with discipleship training; ministering on the streets and in parks; speaking at churches, bible studies, and retreats; and working at youth camps. JoAnn is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and is currently serving at Glacier Bible Camp in Hungry Horse, Montana.

Prayer Team Information

We strongly encourage you to start your prayer teams for the upcoming 2026 GBC Ladies retreat. We know that God hears our prayers and it is biblical to pray and even fast for special requests. Prayer does make a difference. Matthew 18:19-20 Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. / For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them

Below are the weekly prayer focuses along with a scripture to consider and discuss and the prayer needs. Joining together in Prayer is a powerful tool for Kingdom purpose for all the ladies involved. Please enjoy the journey together. There will be weekly reminders on the FaceBook Page “GBC -Women of Grace”. It is a private group designed for the camp and participants if you care to join. Please email- brenda.sturm @gmail.com and request to join and she will send you a link.
